Joel M. Smith, President and Owner has over 30 years of experience in the construction, industrial, & power generation industries. Prior to founding Global Equipment Source, Inc. - Global Generator Source, Inc., Joel was Vice President of Sales & Procurement for D.S.S.I. a VC owned company focusing on the re-marketing of used standby power generation equipment. Prior to that, Joel was a Regional Manager for Spider, a division of Safeworks, LLC managing three of their six regions, covering the Western, Central, & Gulf Regions in the United States and Canada. Before his tenure at Spider, Joel served in various sales & operational roles at the branch, district, & regional levels for Hertz Equipment Rental Corporation, USRentals, & United Rentals, Inc.
